Guns, Gore & Cannoli

Since an emergency had suddenly cleared my schedule, I've dug up my my Playstation 2 now that any game data can be saved on my newly acquired memory cards.  I'm still playing Fire Emblem: Awakening and Pokemon Gold, but it's mostly grinding characters for the next big smackdown.  Here are the PS2 games I've started:

Devil May Cry

I'm well aware there's a new port available for the Switch, but I got this for $18 less.  Moving on, his latest job takes freelancer Dante to your not-so-typical haunted castle.  Here's what I've got so far.

First I collected all the red orbs needed to get past this Wallmaster thingy.

Then I got to test my fighting ability against living puppets.

I got stuck here, then went back to grind against respawned puppets.  Reviewing my progress, I now have an idea of what to do next.

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

My first crack at the GTA franchise since Chinatown Wars, this also marks my second outing in Liberty City.  After spending some time out of town, Toni Cipriani returns to serve the powerful Leone family and get back on the boss' good graces.

I get that the graphics at the time were more choppy, but one look at Toni made me glad I could play in third person.

Also, a side mission would have me ride along with Leatherface here.

I hate these time-based missions, especially when I waste time on tasks that are optional.

Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters (PSP)

I've just got this game to further test my "refurbished" PSP.  While the opening cinematics went off without a hitch, a glaring glitch has Ratchet running back and I have to force him forward with the D-Pad.  Having similar problems with Crazy Taxi, I'm assuming the PSP's definitely busted so it's going in the back burner till I can get another one.

Having just suffered a major loss, I'll be busy getting my affairs in order.  This includes me possibly suspending my Internet, meaning I obviously can't work on the blog.  But I will provide updates of any changes through my Facebook and Twitter page.  I'll still check out my backlog in the meantime and talk about my recent activity once things have settled.  Guess this is a good a time as any to ask you to follow the blog if you like what you see.  Let's wait and see the next step towards the TOP OF THE HEAP.  See you next time.
