Hoping to make the most of this extra energy before my midday crash, here's a bit of what I've been doing these past few weeks.
SD BB Senshi #193: Gundam GP01Fb
This little guy showed up fully assembled, in a sandwich bag, mixed in with other small toys on a street stall I've stumbled across. Featured in the G-Generation Zero line of video games, the kit is missing a rifle and extra armor, though I'm surprised this much remained intact.

After the initial cleanup, I took everything apart and soaked the parts in water before scrubbing them clean.
Using Tamiya epoxy putty for the first time, I filled in the holes on certain parts. Because the putty took a while to cure, it was easy to cut away excess before sanding the rest.
Next I cut out pieces of plastic sheets to supplement the eyes and cover a hole in the chin before gluing everything together and sanding off seamlines. I've spent the rest of the time testing primers and paint on spare parts.
And that's where I'm at right now . . . on top of my other unfinished projects. But soon I'll move on to priming and painting this model. Look forward to the finished product. I'm also working on my back catalog of video games, so look forward to that too. Until next time, yadda-yadda-yadda Top of the Heap.
